Fountain's Music is inspired by the beautiful fountain and gardens at the Santa Barbara Music Academy. Surrounded by beautiful tile work and a variety of succulents, this fountain is a lovely centerpiece in the courtyard. I love turquoise and teal and all the shades of green that are in this painting. I painted it to celebrate these colors and the musical sound of the water fountain. When I was there, a ray of sunshine came through and lit it up from the side. I wanted to capture this stunning light so that it could be enjoyed by others.
